Part Time Closing Bakery Deli Clerk

Job Position

This is a closing position. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to pass a drug test.

Supports the Bakery and Deli departments by preparing, packaging, stocking, and serving products while providing excellent customer service.

• Prepare, package, and stock bakery and deli products.
• Slice meats and cheeses to order.
• Assist customers with orders, inquiries, and product recommendations.
• Maintain displays, cases, and shelves with fresh, appealing product.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
• Operate scales, slicers, ovens, and fryers safely.
• Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries.

Food handling or customer service experience preferred. Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety standards. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Stand/walk for long periods. Lift/carry up to 40 lbs frequently. Work in hot/cold conditions. Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.

Varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Product quality and freshness maintained. Customer service standards met. Department cleanliness and sanitation compliance.
