Crusher Operator​/Groundman

Overview

Description for Knife River position as described below.

• Perform maintenance, repair, labor and operate crushing plant in support of crushing operations
• Duties include clean-up, oiling, lubrication and miscellaneous repairs
• Participate in quality control to meet specifications
• May operate equipment such as a loader, skid steer, telehandler, boom lift
• Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
• Other duties assigned as needed

• Basic knowledge of crusher operation, conveyor system and construction equipment preferred
• Equipment operator skills and experience helpful
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others and follow directions
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime
• Ability to travel as necessary within the Southern and Central Oregon area
• Upon job offer, you must pass criminal background check, drug screen, physical and functional capacities testing
