The Aircraft Electrician/Avionics Technician performs expert-level electrical and avionics maintenance and manufacturing tasks on aircraft, parts, and components. This role ensures all work complies with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and Erickson requirements. As a senior member of the team, the technician handles the most complex technical challenges, assumes project management responsibilities, and serves as a primary mentor to junior staff.

• Complex Technical Execution:
  Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, fabrication, manufacturing, and assembly of complex aircraft electrical/avionic systems and wiring.
• Troubleshooting & AOG Support:
  Diagnose and correct high-level electrical/avionic discrepancies during routine maintenance and Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations.
• Project Management:
  Assume lead responsibility for assigned projects, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols are met.
• Mentorship:
  Actively mentor, train, and coach Level 1 and Level 2 mechanics to foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Compliance & Documentation:
  Read and interpret Repair Station Quality Manuals, Technical Manuals, and Blueprints. Ensure all work is documented accurately per company and FAA regulatory requirements.
• Inspection:
  Perform duties of an Inspector (if task-qualified) across multiple areas of the department.
• Administrative Leadership:
  Manage time entry, DAX, and the creation/revision of department documents as required.

• Experience:
  
  10+ years of increasingly responsible aircraft maintenance or manufacturing experience. (
  
  Note:
  
  Schooling/training is not included in years of experience).
• Licensure:
  Must hold a valid Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Deep understanding of FAA/aviation industry regulations and electrical/electronic theory and principles.
• Visual Ability:
  Must be able to identify and distinguish colors (required for wiring and electrical tasks).
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalency;
  Valid Driver’s License.

• Hold a valid FCC license.
• Strong communication skills (clear, concise written and verbal professional communication).
• High level of professionalism, punctuality, and a detail-oriented problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work independently or as a collaborative team player.

• Shift: Night Shift (4:00 PM – 2:30 AM)

• Shift: Must be available for Night Shift (4:00 PM – 2:30 AM).
• Overtime:
  Willingness to work 40+ hours per week, including weekends as directed.
• Travel:
  Ability to travel domestically and internationally to meet customer requirements; ability to drive company or rental vehicles.
• Environment:
  Must be comfortable working with hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals/products and maintaining a clean, organized “Lean” workspace.
