Position Summary
Seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in Hand Therapy to evaluate and treat conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremities. The therapist will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to restore function, reduce pain, and support patients returning to work, sports, and daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive upper-extremity evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with physician referrals
Fabricate and customize splints/orthoses
Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
Educate patients on injury prevention and home programs
Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Communicate with physicians, case managers, and care teams
Required Qualifications
Active Washington State Occupational Therapist license
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 2 years of hand or upper-extremity therapy experience
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential or willingness to obtain
Experience with post-surgical rehab and workers’ compensation cases
Schedule / Work Environment
In-clinic setting
