Description
Work under the direction and supervision of the department manager to support providers and patients in the delivery of cost‑effective, clinically competent, reliable scheduling of procedures, exams, and surgeries in a safe, respectful manner that ensures patient respect and dignity. Manage deadlines to ensure that patient healthcare needs and patient department demands are met. Work with clinical teams in the coordination of appointments and patient needs as they arise.
Understand, support and implement the mission and core values of the hospital and Providence Health System through responsible and effective work performance.
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Coursework/Training and Intermediate Medical Terminology and Physical Anatomy coursework. Or equivalent educ/experience
- 3 years of Medical office or hospital experience in procedural field. Demonstrated outstanding customer service experience.
- Associate's Degree in including medical coursework.
