Laundry Attendant

As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service that our guests have come to expect.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
• Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
• Maintain accurate records of items laundered.
• Sort, fold, and store clean linens.
• Ensure laundry supplies are restocked and maintained.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure optimal flow of linens and efficient resolution of maintenance issues.

Required Skills

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and push items for extended periods.
• Attention to detail.
• Capable of lifting heavy items up to 30 pounds.
• Basic understanding of laundering equipment and chemicals.
