IT Project Manager, IT Consultant, Cybersecurity, IT Business Analyst
The Director, Information Technology, will drive the company's information technology assets and capabilities, serving as a critical business enabler while maintaining the highest levels of cyber security and operational integrity. The role will report to the CEO of Lightcurve, and as an integral part of the company's leadership team will proactively drive the development and implementation of the company's growth strategies.
The role is expected to have meaningful interaction and exposure to the company's board and investors.
The role requires meaningful background in the telecom broadband industry with deep appreciation of operating and expanding fixed broadband infrastructure and the associated Business and Operating Support Systems (B/OSS) environments, industry regulations and associated compliance requirements.
- Articulate and deliver business value: This role must take ownership to clearly articulate how IT investments will drive business value – whether it be operational enablement, scaling business operations, or data and analytics. Taking this alignment between IT and business goals, operationalizing this alignment and delivering business value in a measurable and timebound manner is critical.
- Use AI as a critical business enabler: With a passion for transforming how business is done, this role should leverage AI in every aspect of the business to change how we conduct business, while dramatically improving customer experience and business outcomes.
- Develop and maintain an IT roadmap: Articulate and maintain an IT roadmap, covering both applications and infrastructure, in support of business goals and objectives. With a functional and architectural view, this roadmap should leverage the trends in the industry and technology to allow for a cost effective and scalable IT application and infrastructure stack.
- Develop strong data analytics capabilities: Using both internal data and external data to drive informed customer acquisition and retention strategies. Owning (big) data analytics and visualization capabilities and serving as a strategic driver of business decision making.
- Develop and maintain customer centric IT systems: Lead the development and implementation of IT solutions that enhance customer experience in the telecom sector, such as improved connectivity, customer service technologies, and personalized offerings.
- Provide innovation in telecom technologies: Focus on the adoption and integration of emerging technologies specific to telecom, like 5G, IoT, and advanced network security solutions.
- Recruit, manage and develop IT talent: Taking a strategic view to in sourcing and outsourcing of talent, to develop and vision of resourcing the IT organization in the most cost-effective manner while ensuring that the right talent is available and / or accessible to the company.
- Maintain a strong cyber security posture: Own the cybersecurity posture for the company from a process and technology perspective. Implement the necessary operational controls and governance oversight to operationalize this posture. Have clearly identified and operationalized plans for each area of cybersecurity – Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond and Recover.
- Vendor and technology management: Take the lead in all vendor and technology management as it pertains to all matters IT, driving the best possible outcomes for the company, while ensuring that all vendors align with the cybersecurity priorities of the company.
- Cross functional collaboration: With all teams in the organization to ensure that business needs are well represented in IT roadmaps and priorities and business outcomes are clearly enabled and supported by IT work.
- Be a strong advocate for company values: Be a part of and help grow the company's culture that promotes a strong, inclusive, and team and performance-oriented work environment. Partner effectively with technology, sales, service, and other functions to help deliver results for the company.
