Ticket Seller

This is a temporary position. The 2026 Southwest Washington Fair takes place August 11-16. Applicants must be available on July 15th, 2026 for a hiring event and August 10th, 2026 for a training shift. Shift hours may fluctuate based on business needs before, during, and after the Fair.

Under limited supervision, assists in welcoming and checking in guests to the Southwest Washington Fair.

• Selling tickets to fairgoers at the gate.
• Handling cash.
• Counting cash and preparing deposits at the end of shift.
• Answering questions from fairgoers and giving directions as needed.

Work is performed in and around Lewis County Fairground facilities; subject to sitting, standing, walking.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to speak and write in the English language.

Prior fair experience.

Ability to:

• Work cooperatively with others.
• Work without supervision for periods of time.
• Maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Follow instructions.
• Make change.
