Part‑time Cashier – work in warp‑travel convenient stores within Interstate service stations.
Shift times may include 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, or 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

- Ring up customer purchases and receive payments by cash, check, credit card, or automatic debit.
- Issue receipts, process refunds, credits, or return change.
- Provide assistance to customers by supplying information on products and benefits.
- Maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with customers and coworkers.
- Address customer concerns.
- Keep accurate records of transaction totals and maintain confidentiality of company sales and records.
- Accurately complete shift reports, temperature check reports, etc.
- Verify cash drawer count at start of every shift.
- Greet customers as they enter and leave the store premises.
- Ensure checkout area is always clean and in order.
- Stock shelves and apply price tags to each item.
- Operate car wash (if applicable).
- Empty trash cans using required safety equipment.
- Properly clean and sanitize restrooms.
- Monitor entire lot for trash.
- Provide on‑the‑job training when asked.
- Compute every transaction.
- Complete any other duties as assigned.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skill.
- Highly organized with strong ability to multi‑task.
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes; agile, flexible and resilient.
- Good customer service skills.
- Basic math skills: fair knowledge of basic calculations.
- Excellent communication skills: interaction with the public both orally and in writing.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to follow directions.
- Ability to get tasks done with little or no supervision.
- Ability to operate cash register and work with numbers.

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous work experience as a store clerk is strongly desired.
- Food Handlers Card (must obtain at start of position).
- CPR training.
- Other required training (to be determined).
- Ability to operate the computer system and other necessary IT equipment.
- Exposure to cleaning/disinfecting chemicals.
- Typically standing or walking – generally up to 4 hours at a time.
- Typical bending, crouching, stooping.
- Repetitive wrist, hand or finger movement.
- Occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs).
