Pay and
Schedule:
* Pay will start between $25-32/hr (DOE)
* Shift is Monday - Friday from 2 PM
-12:30 AM, with a rotating day off
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventive maintenance services and mechanical repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment
* Familiarity with Cummins, Paccar, Freightliner and International systems a plus
* Conduct routine safety inspections to ensure compliance with company, DOT, and OSHA standards
* Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)
* Complete accurate documentation using fleet maintenance software, including parts usage and labor time
* Communicate clearly with senior mechanic and/or Maintenance Manager regarding required repairs and vehicle status
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
* Perform additional maintenance related tasks as needed. DOE
* Welding experience preferred but not required
Qualifications
* 1+ year of experience in truck or diesel equipment maintenance and repair OR
* completion of an accredited vocational or technical diesel program.
* Entry level individuals will also be considered.
* Must supply basic personal tools and toolbox
* Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
* Ability to work safely, follow procedures, communicate effectively, have a positive attitude with the desire to learn and grow in the role
