The RoleThe People Shared Services Lead (NA/EMEA) - Mobility oversees how People services, advisory support, and employee lifecycle operations are delivered across the region, ensuring consistent, compliant, and high-quality employee experiences across a complex regulatory and cultural landscape.
This role blends regional leadership with hands‑on execution, providing direction on employee relations, performance management, and compliance matters while overseeing day-to-day service delivery, governance, and operational discipline.
With coverage spanning the United States, Canada, and multiple EMEA countries, this role requires deep knowledge of regional employment practices, strong risk judgment, operational rigor, and a roll‑up-your‑sleeves mindset to manage both immediate issues and longer‑term transformation priorities.
Responsibilities and ImpactAs the People Shared Services Lead for North America & EMEA, you will shape how Spin Co delivers People support across two of the company’s most complex and highly regulated regions. Your leadership will strengthen employee relations outcomes, manager capability, service consistency, and regional compliance.
Partnering closely with HR Business Partners, COEs, Payroll, Benefits, Legal, and HR Technology & Analytics, you will ensure global People strategies are adapted effectively to regional requirements while maintaining strong governance and operational excellence.
Regional Leadership & Advisory (≈60%)- Lead the Shared Services function across North America and EMEA, overseeing advisory support and service delivery across multiple countries and labor models.
- Provide guidance on regional employment laws, compliance obligations, and localized People practices, including U.S./Canada regulations and European statutory requirements.
- Support managers with performance management, coaching, employee relations matters, and People best practices aligned to global frameworks.
- Lead Tier 2 employee relations investigations and escalations, partnering with HRBPs and Legal on higher‑risk matters.
- Partner with COEs to deploy regional learning, engagement, and change initiatives.
- Represent North America & EMEA needs in global service delivery forums, governance discussions, and operating model decisions.
- Collaborate with People Analytics to interpret regional trends, risks, and capacity needs.
- Oversee delivery of employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, job changes, leave administration, benefits coordination, transfers, and separations.
- Ensure accurate payroll inputs, benefits administration, and data management in partnership with Global Payroll, Benefits, and Shared Services.
- Maintain statutory documentation, support audits, and ensure compliance with regional employment regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, digital workflows, and AI‑enabled tools to enhance service delivery and scalability.
- Ensure alignment of regional practices with global COEs and Shared Services standards.
- Support global PMO and transformation initiatives by managing regional deliverables, change adoption, and communications.
- Coach and develop People Advisors and regional specialists to ensure consistent, high‑quality service and sound judgment.
Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
