Client Support Engineer – Level 2 (MSP Environment) Centreville, VA Onsite
$60,000 – $70,000 + Performance Incentives
We’re working with a well-established Managed Service Provider (MSP) that has been modernizing IT environments for small and mid-sized businesses across the DMV for over two decades. Due to continued revenue growth, they’re expanding their engineering team and looking for a Client Support Engineer (L2) who wants more than just ticket work—someone who wants visibility, ownership, and a clear growth path.
This is an opportunity for an engineer who enjoys being client-facing, values strong technical fundamentals, and wants to grow into a trusted technical advisor role with real upside tied to performance and impact.
What You’ll Be Doing- Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned clients, owning issues end-to-end
- Provide Tier 2 support across server, desktop, hardware, and onsite environments
- Support and administer Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SharePoint, Azure, Windows Server, MacOS, and Windows OS
- Deliver hands-on onsite support when required, including troubleshooting, deployments, and escalations
- Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders and C-level leaders
- Support and implement endpoint security, web filtering, vulnerability scanning, and security tooling
- Assist with disaster recovery solutions, backups, and cloud storage platforms
- Document environments and resolutions clearly, maintaining high MSP standards
- Collaborate with senior engineers and leadership on complex issues and client strategy
- Prior MSP experience is required
- Strong foundation in:
- Desktop & server support
- Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace
- SharePoint administration
- Exposure to security tooling and best practices
- Comfortable working directly with clients and executives
- Strong communication skills and professional presence
- Desire to grow technically and professionally within an MSP
- Base Salary $60,000K–$70,000K
