- Supporting a 10-member Legal, Risk & Compliance Team, with primary responsibility focused on researching and preparing responses to third-party subpoenas and prelitigation disputes
- Providing comprehensive support across all stages of dispute management, including initial investigations, drafting correspondence, preparing materials, managing litigation holds, drafting discovery responses and effectively maintaining docket of pending deadlines
- Managing and helping to triage all internal and external requests and correspondence to the Legal, Risk & Compliance Team, including processing incoming mail and packaging
- Conducting legal and online research
- Performing other duties, as assigned, including scheduling meetings, compiling department metrics, and reporting and liaising with teams such as Finance and Human Resources to support the Legal, Risk & Compliance Team
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program a plus
- At least five years of experience as a litigation paralegal at a law firm or in-house corporate legal department with significant and progressive responsibility
- Excellent legal and online research skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Detail-oriented, superior organizational skills and demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and take initiative when appropriate
- Strong work ethic with sound analytical and problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and Lexis Nexis
- Proven ability to work in a demanding environment, both independently and as part of a team, with a hands‑on attitude and a willingness to get things done
- Notary public certification is a plus, but not required
- Experience e‑filing on PACER/ECF a plus, but not required
