Join our team as a Sales Clerk serving the brave men and women of the military and their families. In this dynamic role you will provide exceptional customer service, assist with product selection, and ensure a smooth shopping experience for customers. Be a vital part of a team that supports those who serve, offering them the convenience and quality they deserve.

Duties
  • Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge, and help with the selection of merchandise.
  • Respond promptly to all customer concerns with a sense of importance.
  • Sell merchandise and provide outstanding customer service, including demonstrations or explanations of technical features of items sold.
  • Take periodic stock counts and participate in inventory activities.
  • Replenish stock and maintain merchandise in a neat and presentable condition.
  • Advise supervisor/department head of customer requests.
  • Process cash, checks, credit cards, debit cards, and gift cards; give accurate change and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Perform price changes, markdowns, or mark‑ups and set company promotions with proper signage and label changes.
  • Follow all policies regarding Loss Prevention and be proactive regarding shrink and the Alert Line.
  • Follow established safety standards and emergency preparedness requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Required
  • Potential to stock merchandise, assist patrons, and operate a cash register as demonstrated by ability to read, comprehend, and explain product literature; count, subtract, multiply, and divide for stocking and inventory purposes as evidenced by high school coursework, a GED, or high school diploma.
  • Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 25 hours during the week.
  • Knowledge in Wine & Spirits preferred.
