Position:
Sales Clerk | Salary $18.08/hour | Full‑time 30‑40 hrs/wk

Location:
Centreville, VA‑Exchange

• Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge and assist with merchandise selection.
• React to customer concerns quickly and with a sense of importance.
• Sell merchandise and provide outstanding customer service, including demonstration and explanation of technical features.
• Take periodic stock counts and participate in inventories.
• Replenish stock and keep merchandise neat and presentable.
• Advise supervisor/department head of customer requests.
• Receive and give change accurately at the cash register, maintain sales records, and account for all monies and items sold.
• Perform price changes, set promotions and ensure proper display, signage and item labeling.
• Follow loss‑prevention policies, be proactive regarding shrink and alert line.
• Follow safety standards and emergency preparedness requirements.
• Work weekends and perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Required

• High school diploma or GED; ability to read, comprehend, explain product literature; arithmetic skills for stocking and inventory.
• Ability to routinely lift 10 lbs and occasionally lift 25 lbs and stand for long periods.

• Previous retail merchandising or cashier experience.
