Sales Clerk (Firearms) – Part Time

Position:
Sales Clerk (Firearms)

• Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge and assist with selection of firearms.
• Adhere to ATF, Federal, State and Local firearm rules and regulations; complete federal form 4473 and applicable state forms.
• Perform daily price checks and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Sell merchandise and provide premier customer service, demonstrating technical features of items sold.
• Replenish stock, maintain merchandise presentation, and advise supervisor of customer requests.
• Receive cash, checks, credit/debit cards and give accurate change; maintain sales records and end‑shift balances.
• Set pricing changes, markdowns, mark‑ups, and promotions; appropriately display signage.
• Conduct daily count of on‑site firearms to ensure accurate control.
• Follow loss prevention policies, shrink awareness, and safety/emergency preparedness requirements.
• Work weekends as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent; basic math skills for stocking and inventory.
• In-depth knowledge of firearms.
• Physical ability to lift 10-25 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Non-US nationals with 3/5 years U.S. residency (if applicable).
• Successful completion of background check and all pre‑employment requirements.
• Must be registered with Selective Service System if required by law.
