We are recruiting an energetic Junior Admin Clerk, based in Centurion, to assist our finance team.

Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel & Google Sheets).
- Solid knowledge of debtors, creditors, invoicing, and purchase orders.
- Ability to be timeous and to work effectively under pressure.
- Clean criminal record and commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
- Trustworthy and honest with a proactive, self-starting attitude.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Remain calm and composed in stressful situations, demonstrating emotional resilience.
- Bank Imports:
Recording and allocating transactions to appropriate accounts. - Bank Reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Payment Processing:
Load payment batches to the bank on a daily basis. - Supplier Reconciliations and handling supplier payment queries and disputes professionally.
- Managing the Daily Cash Sheet and ensuring proper cash flow.
- Invoicing and processing refunds as necessary.
- Following up on daily supplier payments and cash flow.
- Maintaining accurate filing systems for future reference and audit purposes.
- Providing month-end information to auditors.
- Offering general administrative support to the finance team as needed.
- Assisting in month-end and year-end financial closing tasks.
- Ensuring attention to detail in data entry and financial transactions.
- Managing multiple tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines.
- Display emotional resilience and ability to work under pressure regularly.
- Adapt to changing business needs, work responsibilities, and dynamic conditions.
- Able to engage effectively with diverse teams and individuals.
Experience:
Matric certificate (or equivalent). Around 2 years of experience in an administrative or finance role.
This position requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling financial data while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
It also involves communication and relationship-building with suppliers and internal teams. Flexibility in managing changing demands and deadlines will be key in this role.
Ability to commute/relocate:Centurion, Gauteng:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
- Addressing complaints - Refunds, follow ups, sending emails requesting details.
- Compiling, maintaining and updating company records.
- Answering phone calls and calling customers and vendors to do follow ups.
- Answer and respond to organization emails and phone calls, and forward communications to appropriate parties as necessary.
- Assist financial manager in handling administrative operations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
