Payroll Manager

Your Role

In this role, you will lead a friendly payroll team and keep things running smoothly. You will use your Pay Space expertise to make everyday tasks faster and easier. You will enjoy great support from management and plenty of room to grow your leadership skills.

• Oversee the monthly pay run for 1,500 employees across different business units.
• Use your Pay Space knowledge to automate system reports and daily workflows.
• Guide, support, and mentor three Payroll Officers in your team.
• Check salary details, wage calculations, and third-party payments for accuracy.
• Handle statutory submissions like SARS EMP
  201 and EMP
  501 on time.
• Help solve staff payroll queries with a helpful and supportive attitude.

• Pay Space Advance or Super User Certification (Essential).
• Proven experience managing payroll for over 1,500 staff.
• Good knowledge of South African tax laws and labor rules.
• Experience leading or managing a small team.
• Great attention to detail and a positive, team-focused attitude.
