The position involves providing client and administrative support within a utilities environment, with a focus on electricity and/or water services. The role requires an individual who can work with utility billing systems, meter readings, consumption data and tariffs while providing effective support to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to clients regarding utility billing and prepaid systems.
- Assist with smart meter management and meter readings.
- Manage debtor accounts, billing and credit control activities.
- Monitor utility consumption and prepare relevant reports.
- Provide system support and troubleshoot client queries.
- Assist with utility tariff-related queries and administration.
- Maintain accurate client and utility-related information.
- Grade 12; relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
- 35 years experience within the utilities sector.
- Experience in electricity and/or water utilities.
- Experience with utility billing and/or prepaid systems.
- Knowledge of meter management, meter readings and tariffs.
- Exposure to debtors, billing and credit control.
- Strong client service and troubleshooting skills.
- Good administrative, communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Afrikaans proficiency will be advantageous.
