Videographer Career Excel Academy; Pty Ltd Private Education Institution

Our company is a Private Higher Education Institution looking for an energetic Junior Videographer to join our marketing team in Centurion. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to help shape the digital presence of a leading private institution in the Built Environment and Engineering sectors.

You will be responsible for capturing the energy of our “Block Weeks,” producing educational content, and creating high-impact social media assets that inspire the next generation of industry leaders.

• Production:
  Film on-campus events, classroom sessions, and interviews with industry experts.
• Editing:
  Edit raw footage into polished content for various social media platforms.
• Content Creation:
  Develop short-form “day-in-the-life” videos and promotional ads for our academic programs.
• Equipment Care:
  Manage and maintain in-house camera gear, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align video content with our organisational goals.

• Portfolio/Showreel: A link to your previous work is mandatory (student projects are welcome!).
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Hardware Knowledge:
  Comfortable operating DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and basic lighting setups.
• Social Media Savvy:
  Understanding of current trends, aspect ratios, and styles for different digital platforms.
• Location:
  
  Must be based in or able to commute to Centurion daily.
