A reputable and established organisation within the motor industry is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join their finance team as soon as possible. The role is ideal for a hands‑on finance professional with strong bookkeeping experience within the motor trade environment and a proven ability to manage key accounting functions accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and maintain accurate General Ledger reconciliations
- Review, verify, and sign off creditors reconciliations and payments
- Process and validate salary inputs for payroll purposes
- Assist with month‑end procedures and reporting requirements
- Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with internal controls
- Support the finance team with ad hoc accounting and administrative duties
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 4–5 years of experience in a Senior Bookkeeper role
- Previous motor trade experience in a similar role is essential
- Experience working on Evolve is essential
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
