OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
The overarching objective of the graduate programme is to transition graduates from a higher learning institution to a work environment. We aim to help graduates become well rounded young professionals with great prospects and a positive future.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGOur Finance Unit is responsible for managing the finances of the corporation including; preparing monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, compiling quarterly reports and statutory returns.
As a graduate within the Finance Unit, you will be involved in:
Data Processing- Processing debtors and creditors invoices
- Processing creditors payments
- Processing cashbooks
- Processing journals
- Preparing weekly and quarterly cash projections
- Preparing monthly reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports to stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecast
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements
- Assist with updating finance processes
- You need to be an Accounting graduate with a BCom degree;
- No previous working experience
- Must be a South African Citizen
