Position: Verifications Analyst (BBBEE)
We are looking for an experienced Verification Analyst that has 2+ years BBBEE verification experience for an established company based in Centurion.

Position overview:
This role involves verifying the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) Status of small, medium, and large companies, including JSE-listed and multinational organizations.

Requirements:

BCom Accounting, BCom Accounting Honours or BCom Internal Audit or any related degree or Diploma or Legal Degree / Diploma
Completed SAICA articles
2 years + B-BBEE Experience (Essential)
Have a good understanding of accounting and interpretation of financial systems and financial statements
Experience in dealing with clients and with good interpersonal skills.
Competency, potential, and interpersonal skills are the primary criteria.
Proven ability to establish rapport and build strong relationships with a portfolio of clients, including senior executives.
Valid drivers license and own transport is essential

Responsibilities:

Perform BBBEE verifications in accordance with the DTI’s BBBEE Codes of Good Practice, sector
codes, and the company’s verification methodology.
Lead client kick-off meetings independently and foster client relationships.
Interpret, verify, and effectively communicate all elements of the BBBEE scorecard, excluding complex ownership structures.
Prepare comprehensive and high-quality verification files and finalize results.
Present findings to client teams of up to 8 people.
Address objections, manage challenging questions, and navigate conflict situations.
Provide expert responses to client inquiries regarding B-BBEE verification and implementation issues.
