About the Role

Our client is looking for an organized and proactive Catering Coordinator to join their team in Centurion . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth planning and execution of catering services for various events and clients. You will act as a key liaison between clients, the culinary team, and operational staff, managing logistics and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a collaborative, hybrid work setting where coordination and effective planning are paramount to success.

• Coordinate all aspects of catering orders, from initial client inquiry to final service delivery.
• Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and dietary restrictions.
• Schedule and manage catering staff, ensuring adequate coverage for all events.
• Oversee inventory management for food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring timely procurement.
• Collaborate closely with the culinary team on menu planning and preparation logistics.
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with all stakeholders, both on-site and remotely.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning , hospitality, or catering coordination.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to multitask.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with event management software.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment , balancing remote and on-site responsibilities.
