Event Catering Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Event Catering Coordinator to join their team in Centurion . This role involves liaising with clients, managing event logistics, and ensuring the smooth execution of catering services from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, translating their vision into reality and coordinating with the kitchen and service teams to deliver outstanding experiences.

The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a keen eye for detail, ensuring every event is a resounding success.

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing inquiries, proposals, and contracts for catering events.
• Coordinate event details with clients, including menu selection, timelines, and special requests.
• Liaise effectively with the kitchen and service staff to ensure all operational requirements are met.
• Manage event logistics, such as venue setup, staffing, and equipment rentals.
• Conduct site visits and pre-event meetings to ensure all aspects of the catering are planned meticulously.
• Handle client feedback and resolve any issues that may arise during or after events in Centurion .

• Previous experience in event planning, coordination, or catering administration.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using event management software and MS Office Suite.
