- BCom Human Resources Management (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate in Industrial Relations (Essential/Minimum or)
- Certificate in Labour Relations (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate in First Line Management (Recommended/ Desirable)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in People and Performance, Employee Relations, and negotiations within a labour law environment
- Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
- Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
- Strong understanding of compliance, governance, and assurance processes
- Previous experience in budget management and cost control
- Proficiency in developing and implementing employee relations strategies and policies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with management and external partners
- Manage and control budget allocations to ensure adherence to approved expenditures and assist in budget compilation based on operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with health management standards and risk management related to labour compliance, statutory requirements, and corporate governance.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Employee Relations and Compliance strategies, policies, and principles in alignment with Group strategy and legislative requirements.
- Provide expert advisory services and professional customer support regarding compliance and wellness within the Business Unit environment.
- Conduct compliance audits and analyse market trends to recommend improvements in Employee Relations and compliance practices.
- Collaborate with third-party partners to enhance wellness functions and foster positive stakeholder relationships.
- Develop training materials and conduct sessions to inform employees and management about changes in compliance and Employee Relations legislation.
- Analyse Employee Relations data to identify trends and provide strategic input, creating actionable plans to address potential areas of concern.
- Promote open communication, inclusivity, and a safe work culture, ensuring adherence to Safety Health and Environmental policies.
- Facilitate engagement and dialogue within the team, addressing conflicts and promoting a collaborative environment.
