Incomar Dynamics () forms part of the Incomar group, an aerospace and defence company based in Centurion, South Africa. We are continuously expanding our specialised product development and flight operations capabilities. The Incomar group was established in South Africa in 1999, with its origins in military aircraft weapons and avionics integration and flight testing. The company is well established in the local and international industry, with a strong capability in several specialist areas, including:
- Systems Design, Development, and Integration.

Incomar Dynamics is looking for a motivated individual to take up a Principal Project Manager role within the company on aircraft, systems and avionics development projects. The individual will be incorporated into a collaborative team that includes personnel from the and Engineering departments, as well as other entities within the group of companies, to ensure effective management and achievement of project goals.
The individual will also be required to lead and mentor more junior project managers within the department.
- Applicable Bachelor's Degree or Qualification in an engineering, aerospace or other relevant field.
- Training in project management is preferable, but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 15 years' of engineering and project management experience in a design, development and production environment within the aerospace, defence or other relevant sector.
- Experience in aircraft and/or aircraft systems development-related programmes.
- Experience in a technical management/leadership position.
- Knowledge or experience of project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Knowledge or experience in budgeting and budget management.
- Knowledge or experience with contract T&C's.
- Knowledge or experience in risk and change management.
- Knowledge of design & development and production methodologies in the aerospace, defence, or relevant environment.
- Knowledge of Quality Control.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in and lead a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to interact with internal and external parties.
- Experience in client liaison and stakeholder management.
- Ability to compile proposals, perform costings and negotiation.
- Ability to work within set budgets and timelines.
- Proficient in MS Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams & Project).
- Experience with Governmental Legal Requirements & Permits related to the aerospace and defence industry.
- Responsible for planning, executing, and delivering engineering and/or production projects on time, within scope and within budget; while managing associated risks, stakeholders, clients, resources and requirements.

- Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Manage the relationship with all stakeholders of allocated projects.
- Manage the relationship with the client including reporting, liaison and contract negotiation.
- Perform risk management.
- Manage project finances including budgeting, expenditure and incomes.
- Supply regular project feedback in terms of progress, schedule, risk and finances to management.
