Managing Director position available in Centurion.

The Managing Director is responsible for providing visionary leadership and overall strategic direction to ensure the sustainable growth, profitability, and long-term success of the organisation.

The role is accountable for developing and executing the Company’s strategic plan in alignment with Board-approved objectives and shareholder expectations, while driving commercial performance, organisational excellence, governance compliance, and brand integrity.

Salary: R165 000 – R250 000 per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Direction
    • Develop, implement, and continuously refine the Company’s strategic plan aligned to Board objectives.
    • Provide clear strategic direction to ensure long-term sustainability and competitive advantage.
    • Lead organisational change initiatives and ensure effective execution of strategic priorities.
    • Provide accurate and timely reporting to the Board on performance, risks, opportunities, and key initiatives.
  • Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy
    • Drive revenue growth and market expansion through optimisation of the direct selling business model and independent consultant network.
    • Develop and implement commercial strategies including pricing, promotions, incentive structures, and product positioning.
    • Oversee sales performance across all channels to ensure achievement of revenue targets and consultant productivity.
    • Identify opportunities to maximise sustainable profitability.
    • Interpret financial data to inform commercial decision-making and improve margins.
  • Leadership & Organisational Development
    • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing executive leadership team.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results orientation.
    • Provide mentorship and performance oversight to senior leaders.
    • Ensure organisational capability aligns with strategic growth objectives.
  • Digital Transformation & Operational Excellence
    • Champion digital transformation initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness and customer engagement.
    • Promote the effective use of technology to improve operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
    • Ensure processes and systems support scalability and long-term growth.
  • Stakeholder & Governance Management
    • Maintain strong relationships with the Board, senior leadership, targeted consultants, business partners, and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure sound corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management.
    • Safeguard and enhance the Company’s reputation, brand equity, and ethical standing.
    • Monitor organisational risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Role Requirements:

  • Qualifications
    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Postgraduate qualification or MBA – advantageous.
  • Experience
    • Demonstrated success in a senior executive leadership role.
    • Experience with in direct selling, retail, FMCG, or a comparable customer-centric environment preferred.
    • Proven track record of delivering sustainable revenue growth and organisational performance improvement.
  • Technical & Leadership Competencies
    • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial information and drive profitability.
    • Exceptional strategic thinking and decision-making capability.
    • Outstanding leadership and people management skills.
    • Strong governance awareness and risk management orientation.
