ROLE PURPOSE
The Business Development Consultant will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying business opportunities, and promoting Hiconnex comprehensive range of interconnect solutions.
REQUIREMENTS- Grade 12
- Degree or Trade Certificate
- 1-3 years’ experience in Technical Sales
- Strong technical acumen and the ability to understand and communicate complex technical information
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, Internet and Email)
- Customer Relationship Management — Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential customers. Understand customer needs and requirements, provide effective solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Sales and Business Development — Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory. Achieve sales targets and objectives by actively promoting Hiconnex products and services. Collaborate with the sales team to create and implement effective sales strategies.
- Product Knowledge — Stay informed about Hiconnex product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activities. Provide technical support and guidance to customers, demonstrating a deep understanding of our products.
- Market Analysis — Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends. Keep management informed about market conditions, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Collaboration — Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.

Technical Skills :
- Strong understanding of the technical aspects of the products and services being sold
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms

- Proficient in relevant software and tools related to RF engineering.
Sales Skills :
- Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade customers
- Experience in creating and delivering technical presentation
- Skills in responding to RFPs and preparing proposals
