Vehicle Sales Executive

Our client, based in Gauteng, is seeking a driven and customer-focused Vehicle Sales Executive to join their sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling vehicles, developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving monthly sales targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Description:

• Sell new and/or pre-owned vehicles in accordance with dealership targets and standards.
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and lead follow-up.
• Conduct vehicle presentations, demonstrations, and test drives.
• Assist customers in selecting vehicles that meet their needs and budget.
• Negotiate sales agreements and facilitate the sales process from enquiry to delivery.
• Promote finance, insurance, and value-added products where applicable.
• Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and submitted timeously.
• Maintain regular contact with existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Follow up on customer enquiries and leads promptly and professionally.
• Stay informed about vehicle specifications, product updates, market trends, and competitor activity.
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid South African driver's licence.
• Minimum of 2 years' vehicle sales experience within a franchised dealership environment.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Customer-focused with a professional and energetic approach.
• Computer literate.
• Experience selling premium or volume automotive brands.
• Knowledge of dealership management systems and CRM platforms.
• Understanding of finance and insurance processes within a dealership environment.
