Triz Engineering Services America, LLC is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Vice President of Business Development to lead strategic growth across the United States and selected international markets.

Initially based in Durbanville, South Africa, the successful candidate will lead U.S. commercial development, including business strategy, strategic account management, pipeline development, customer engagement, and revenue growth. Subject to business requirements, performance, and applicable U.S. immigration and employment requirements, the role is expected to transition to the United States after approximately one year, where the incumbent will assume full responsibility for in-market business development and strategic customer growth.

• Develop and execute business development strategies to drive commercial growth.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within target markets.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and technology partners.
• Lead account development, customer engagement, proposal strategy, and commercial negotiations.
• Drive pipeline management, revenue forecasting, and strategic account expansion.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and executive leadership to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Represent Triz Engineering at customer meetings, industry events, and strategic engagements.
• Build and lead a high-performing business development function as the U.S. operation expands.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in business development, commercial leadership, or strategic sales within engineering, technology, mobility, transportation, or related industries.
• Proven success in selling complex engineering services or technical solutions.
• Experience working with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, technology companies, or strategic partners.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management.
