About the Role
Our client is seeking a driven and results-oriented Catering Sales Executive to join their team in Centurion . This role is crucial for expanding their client base and driving revenue growth for their catering services. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with prospective clients, and closing sales deals for a variety of events. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the catering market in Gauteng , and a passion for providing exceptional service from the initial inquiry through to event completion.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads and business opportunities within the corporate, private, and social event sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored catering solutions.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential clients.
- Negotiate terms and close sales to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate closely with the culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within the hospitality or catering industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of the event planning process and catering services.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to lead generation and client management.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools is a plus.
