Head of Energy Solutions
Our client in the Property Development Industry is seeking a Head of Energy Solutions to join their team.
Responsibilities- Planning & Design: Interpret blueprints, develop electrical plans, estimate costs, and manage timelines.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with NEC/SANS codes.
- Project Management: Coordinate trades, manage procurement, inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Installation: Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose and repair MV/LV systems, motors, and controls; perform preventative maintenance.
- Leadership & Training: Mentor junior electricians, enforce best practices, and foster a culture of safety and quality.
- Valid Wiremans Licence/Master Electrician (mandatory).
- Extensive experience with generators, MV/LV fault finding, reticulation, and MV switching (advantageous).
- Strong electrical problem-solving and managerial skills.
- Expertise in tendering, costing, and procurement processes.
- Utilities experience and excellent interpersonal skills.
