2094 – Tracking Technician

About The Field Technician/Installer

The role of a technician is vital to the efficient operation of our telematics devices. The technician will be tasked with the installation, repair, and maintenance of Ctrack units and other authorized products. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting devices installed within vehicles.

• Conducting all pre- and post-inspections in line with department/branch requirements.
• Installation, repair, and servicing of all units and company-approved products in line with company policies and procedures.
• Completing any administrative tasks as requested by management and making use of the various systems required by the company.

• Technical Knowledge Understanding of installation procedures and techniques
• Communication Skills Clear verbal and written communication with team members, customers, and management.
• Adaptability Adapts to changes in project requirements, schedules, or environments without compromising quality or safety.
• Problem-Solving Abilities Quickly identifies issues or challenges during installations and works Proactively to find solutions.
• Safety Awareness Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines during installations.
• Microsoft Office - Intermediate

• Minimum Matric or equivalent.
• Autotronics or Auto Electrical Qualification or Experience would be an advantage.
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
• Valid Driver's License
