Installation and Maintenance Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Installation and Maintenance Engineer to join their established operations in Centurion, Gauteng . This hands-on role involves the installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of critical industrial equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring all installations meet stringent quality standards and that equipment operates at peak efficiency through proactive maintenance strategies. This position is ideal for a technically adept individual who enjoys working on-site and contributing directly to the operational success of our client's facilities.

• Install, configure, and commission new equipment according to technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on existing machinery to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct performance testing and calibration of equipment post-installation or repair.
• Maintain detailed service logs and report on maintenance activities and equipment status.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols on site.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in equipment installation and maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Hands-on experience with a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures relevant to industrial environments.
