Master Electrician

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and certified Master Electrician to lead electrical operations and ensure the safety and efficiency of all electrical installations and systems in Centurion . This role demands a deep understanding of complex electrical systems, troubleshooting capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and safety. The Master Electrician will be responsible for supervising a team of electricians, managing electrical projects, and ensuring compliance with all national electrical regulations and building codes.

• Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems and equipment in commercial and industrial settings.
• Supervise and mentor a team of electricians, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot electrical issues to identify and resolve faults efficiently.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for electrical installations.
• Ensure all work complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and relevant electrical regulations.
• Manage inventory of electrical supplies and equipment, and prepare material requisitions.

• Qualified as a Master Electrician with relevant trade qualifications and certification.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the electrical trade, with significant experience in industrial and commercial environments.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and diagnostic techniques.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours as needed.
