Solar Panel Installer

Our client is looking for an experienced Solar Panel Installer to join their expanding renewable energy team in Centurion . This role involves the hands‑on installation of photovoltaic systems on residential and commercial properties. You will work as part of a crew to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality installations, contributing directly to the transition towards sustainable energy solutions in Gauteng .

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen understanding of solar technology, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

• Install solar panels, mounting hardware, and associated electrical components on rooftops and ground mounts.
• Conduct site surveys to assess suitability for solar installations and identify potential challenges.
• Ensure all installations comply with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and company best practices.
• Perform system testing and commissioning to verify proper operation after installation.
• Collaborate with electricians and project managers to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Provide clear communication with homeowners regarding installation process and system overview.

• Previous experience in solar panel installation or related field (e.g., roofing, electrical).
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, including those used for electrical work and construction.
• Understanding of electrical safety procedures and local building codes.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Certification in solar installation or electrical work is a plus.
