Industrial Equipment Technician

Our client requires a skilled Industrial Equipment Technician to support operations in Centurion, Gauteng . This role is essential for maintaining the reliability and performance of critical industrial machinery and production lines. You will be responsible for scheduled maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, and emergency repairs to minimize operational disruptions. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in industrial mechanics and electronics, a proactive approach to maintenance, and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence, contributing to a high-performing manufacturing environment.

• Perform preventative maintenance on a wide range of industrial machinery, including preventative lubrication, calibration, and part replacement.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system failures on production equipment.
• Interpret equipment manuals , blueprints, and schematics to perform complex repairs.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new industrial equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities using the CMMS.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance tasks.

• Proven experience as an Industrial Technician or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical control systems.
• Experience with welding and fabrication is a plus.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional shifts and overtime, to support production needs.
