Industrial Systems Technician

Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Systems Technician to join their operational team based in Centurion . This crucial role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex industrial systems and machinery. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively on-site.

• Install, configure, and test industrial machinery and control systems.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they arise.
• Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide repair and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Technician or in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues effectively.
• Good physical condition to handle the demands of on-site work.
• Relevant trade qualification or technical certification is highly preferred.
