Senior HVAC Technician

• Install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handling units, and control systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues with HVAC equipment, identifying root causes of malfunctions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on scheduled intervals to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide installation and repair procedures.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Maintain accurate records of all service calls, maintenance activities, and parts used.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed, demonstrating prompt and effective problem resolution.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure project timelines and expectations are met.

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
• Trade qualification in HVAC or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC system components, refrigeration cycles, and electrical controls.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand complex technical diagrams and specifications.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and adherence to them.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel within Centurion, Gauteng.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
