In this role, you'll play a critical part in supporting the organization's people strategy through effective management of HR systems, employee benefits programs, and compensation administration — partnering closely with HR leadership, payroll, finance, and external vendors to deliver accurate reporting, competitive compensation practices, and compliant, cost-effective benefits programs.

This is a steady, full-time opportunity with weekly pay and strong potential for long-term placement.

  • Support ADP system updates, integrations, and troubleshooting
  • Manage employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
  • Work with benefits brokers, insurance companies, and other vendors
  • Manage annual open enrollment and help employees understand their benefits
  • Ensure benefits programs comply with ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA
  • Review benefit bills and verify payroll deductions
  • Help manage employee leaves of absence and answer employee benefits questions
  • Support salaries, bonuses, incentives, and other compensation programs
  • Research market pay and benchmark company salaries against industry standards
  • Maintain pay ranges and job classifications; process raises, promotions, and other pay changes
  • Support pay equity reviews and compensation reporting
  • Ensure compensation practices comply with California and federal requirements
  • Support compliance with California wage and hour laws and maintain related HR policies
  • Support HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance audits, and assist with required government reports and filings
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 3–5+ years of HR experience, especially in HRIS, benefits, and compensation
  • California HR experience preferred
  • Experience using ADP HRIS
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis
  • Experience creating HR reports and analyzing data
