What You Will Do to Change Lives
The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for activities and functions related to the administration of member care systems and member care in nursing areas and departments. Employees in this role are required to participate in a structured on‑call rotation, remaining accessible and prepared to respond to work‑related needs within a designated timeframe. Rotations are scheduled in advance. While on‑call, employees must actively monitor communications (e.g., phone, email) and respond in accordance with operational protocols.
Compensationand Shifts
Full‑Time | Shifts and days vary as needed.
Starting wage range: $–$ (geographic differentials apply). Sign‑on bonus: $10,000.
Shift differentials: 6% for PM Shift, 10% for Overnight Shift (hourly staff). Weekend Shift differentials: 5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend Overnight Shift.
What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with four (4) years of experience, including two (2) in psychiatric nursing and two (2) in a supervisory capacity; OR BA degree in nursing or related field with two (2) years of experience and one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.
- Master's Degree in psychiatric nursing or related field with administration experience.
- Current valid licensure as an RN in the state of operation.
- At least 18 years of age.
- CPR, BLS AHA, and CPI certified (hands‑on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care; maintain certification throughout employment.
- Successful completion of a post‑offer physical examination, 2‑step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearance, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance are required at the time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual, or local requirements may apply.

- Valid and current driver’s license; personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
- Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc. (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate).
