Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Monitor and verify Critical Control Points (CCPs) during production.
+ Review production and food safety documentation to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
+ Conduct pre-operational and operational inspections of equipment and production areas.
+ Perform environmental swabbing and other sanitation verification activities.
+ Conduct product testing, including but not limited to:
+ pH testing
+ Temperature checks
+ Quality audits
+ Verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
+ Assist with product holds and related quality control procedures.
+ Help develop, implement, and monitor food safety and quality assurance programs.
+ Support company safety initiatives and help ensure compliance with OSHA and other workplace safety requirements.
+ Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and compliance activities.
+ Assist in preparing for internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
+ Report food safety, quality, or safety issues to management in a timely manner.
Qualifications
+ Experience in food safety, quality assurance, or food manufacturing preferred.
+ Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMP, and OSHA standards.
+ Ability to perform inspections, collect samples, and document findings accurately.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills.
