Account Manager

Northern California / Central Valley Territory

Overview

REMA Tip Top is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Manager to grow and support our customer base throughout Northern California and the Central Valley. This role is responsible for developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth within the sand, gravel, aggregate, and industrial markets.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a direct sales environment, enjoys building long-term partnerships, and is comfortable working with customers in industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers throughout the assigned territory.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational needs and provide solutions.
  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Deliver product presentations and communicate value-driven solutions to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer support and service.
  • Represent REMA Tip Top at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
  • Travel regularly throughout the territory to support customers and business development efforts.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, or Direct Sales.
  • Experience with in aggregates, sand and gravel, mining, industrial services, or related industries preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively throughout Northern California and the Central Valley.

  • Base Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 annually
