Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Main purpose of the Buying Admin role
As a buying admin, you will assist the buying department in daily tasks, enter and manage orders, and develop strong relationships with vendors, sales analysts and the buying team. You will comprehend the buying process and complete administrative tasks as needed. This is a permanent full‑time role for a candidate who has exceptional organization skills that will thrive in a fast‑paced work environment.
MajorResponsibilities
- Complete order entry and management
- Review order confirmations
- Ensure trend and product detail tagging
- Manage discrepancies and shipping updates
- Send selling reports to vendors
- Manage vendor forms, new brand paperwork requests and related documents
- Sample requests, coordination and tracking
- General filing and record‑upkeep duties
- Email correspondences in a timely and communicative manner
- Complete ad-hoc tasks and assignments as directed by management
- Motivated, self‑starter
- Ability to work efficiently under strict deadlines
- Ability to independently prioritize and complete multiple assignments with competing deadlines
- Highly organized
- Degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Merchandising Management or similar field
- In lieu of a degree, experience in a showroom or luxury retail environment
- Proficient in Gmail, Excel, Word and online navigation
- Previous experience with data entry
- At least 1 year of experience or an internship in a showroom or in a buying office or fashion industry environment

This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience, and training, licensure, and certifications.
A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range is $18 to $19/hr.
