As a DMV Clerk
, you’re one of the most important team members at Norm Reeves, Business Office
. you’ll be responsible for all our guests’ vehicle registrations, from application to submission. You have an eye for detail and handle all responsibilities with honesty and integrity.

What You’ll Do:- Prepare, process, and submit all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled to the Department of Motor Vehicles
- Review applications for accuracy and ensure all information is complete
- Register all vehicle warranties and extended service contracts
- Maintain a log of all contracts processed and mailed out
- Compile and maintain a complete list of all outstanding title work
- Verify funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications
- Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins
- Bill out all dealer trades and prepare Certificates of Origin
- Acknowledge delays and report to management on the status of any missing or problem titles
- Provide a current list of outstanding titles to the Controller at the end of the month
- Process yearly renewal of dealer tags in conjunction with the Controller
- Full time availability. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Knowledge of the DMV title registration process a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and with a team.
- Detail-oriented organization style.
- A positive team player attitude.
