- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations (e.g., air, water, waste, hazardous materials).
- Maintain environmental permits, records, and reporting requirements.
- Conduct environmental inspections, audits, and sampling as needed.
- Support sustainability initiatives such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, and recycling programs.
- Develop and enforce workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments.
- Perform regular safety inspections, audits, and workplace observations.
- Maintain injury/illness logs and coordinate incident investigations and root‑cause analyses.
- Ensure availability, maintenance, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Deliver EHS training such as OSHA required programs, emergency response, hazard communication, and ergonomics.
- Communicate regulatory changes, safety alerts, and best practices to employees and leadership.
- Support emergency response planning and drills.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions to reduce risk and improve safety culture.
- Participate in cross‑functional teams to support facility and process changes, ensuring EHS considerations are integrated.
- Work with contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with EHS requirements.
- 5 plus years of EHS experience in manufacturing, construction, logistics, or similar environments.
- Professional certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, CHST, ASP, CSP) are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $ per year
