This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The Epic Interface Analyst (Systems Analyst Senior Advisor) is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the Epic system. Epic interface analysts are the primary contacts for implementing and supporting assigned interfaces: they coordinate analysis sessions, create technical designs, triage and resolve interface errors, and coordinate testing, cutover, and go-live activities while partnering with application teams, vendors, and technical teams.

• Day-to-day duties include owning interface work queues, building workqueue logic, and partnering with application analysts to develop error steps and resolve impacts.
• Defines functionality, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system.
• Creates and performs feature testing and determines environmental needs.
• Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business.
• Partners with business, architecture and infrastructure and oversees all service levels to ensure business area satisfaction.
• In depth knowledge of tools utilized.
• Defines detail design components with high level architecture blueprints.
• Coordinates integration activities to ensure successful implementation.
• Ensures effective monitoring of systems.
• Defines development strategy, standards and support tools.
• Proactively works with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements.
• Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years experience in a variety of technologies, documenting requirements and/or building test cases; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

• Epic Bridges Interface Certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with Mirth strongly recommended.
• Experience with Rational tools, Six Sigma or other process improvement training strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary
* range for this specific position is $129,272 to $202,722

* The salary range is the range Elevance Health in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. Even within the range, the actual compensation will vary depending on the above factors as well as market/business considerations.
