About the RoleWe are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to prepare, coordinate, and manage the movement of equipment from our establishment. You will be responsible for reviewing shipment materials before distribution and collaborating with transportation systems to ensure prompt shipment pick‑ups and delivery. You will also prepare shipping documents such as invoices and purchase orders, track orders through carriers like UPS, Fed Ex, and freight providers, and assist with purchasing and inventory tasks, including periodic inventory counts and audits.
The ideal candidate has a hunger for maintaining a high organizational aptitude when handling the logistics of shipments. We’re looking for an optimistic self‑starter who is detail‑oriented and meticulous in their work. This is a full‑time, onsite position at our office located in Cerritos, CA reporting to the Logistics Assistant Manager.
Essential Responsibilities- Plan and schedule shipments with freight carriers based on product availability and customer request
- Work with other coordinators to ensure orders are being processed effectively and on time
- Confirm important data and verify information accuracy on various shipping documents
- Coordinate special shipping requests with the warehouse team
- Follow up with vendors for shipping issues and discrepancies
- Track orders to ensure timely deliveries (UPS, FEDEX, Freight)
- Assist with purchasing and inventory and/or supply management
- Prepare shipping documents such as invoices and purchase orders
- Respond to logistics‑related inquiries from other departments
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual audits and inventory counts
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude
- Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Calendar
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance
- Type minimum 30+ WPM
- Bilingual Korean preferred but not required
As part of the hiring process, selected candidates will be required to complete a preliminary recorded video interview through WedgeHR. This step is mandatory, and applications will not be considered complete until the recorded interview has been submitted. Candidates who do not complete the Wedge HR interview will not be considered for the position.
