The Purchasing Associate is an onsite position responsible for maintaining supply inventory levels and negotiating deals with vendors. Duties include data entry, learning company purchasing policies, and conducting regular price comparisons to ensure the company obtains the best price for each product.

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors
• Review purchasing agreements and maintain open communication
• Develop an active process for measuring supply inventory and determining purchasing needs based on quarterly and annual numbers
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and establish long‑term purchasing arrangements when beneficial
• Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact vendors on discrepancies
• Enter data accurately and efficiently

• Strong communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and task orientation
• Technical proficiency
• Excellent math skills
• Fast and accurate typing ability
• Bilingual English & Mandarin (must be able to speak, read, and write Mandarin)
• High School Diploma or GED required;
  Associate Degree preferred
• 3+ years in a purchasing role
• Data entry experience
• Experience with shipping/trucking is a plus
